e summer of 2001 has birthed a new direction in my painting, a direction I call “visionary art”. My vision expanded exponentially thanks to a magical and mysterious trip to Peru. The images are my journey into the inner realms and beyond. I have been a representational artist focusing primarily on landscapes, and drawing my inspiration from nature. Since Peru I have been drawn inward, and have seen how the inner reflects the outer spiritual source. My new paintings represent a marriage of the inner and outer worlds. Their union blends into poetic visions that invite the viewer to travel more deeply into the realm of their known and unknown.

I invite you to share in my story as you journey into this new series of eleven paintings. The text for each image will appear on the same page as the enlarged image so that you may follow the story as you move from “Blue Dream”(#1) to “Blue Boundary”(#11).

Many who have viewed these paintings have expressed a deep identification with some of the images. Perhaps I am tapping into visions of universal emotion, and a confirmation that we are all connected. It is my hope that your journey into these visions will illuminate your inner realm of feelings, and awaken inside of you whatever might be sleeping. Releasing your inner pain brings healing and inner peace. I know the inner realms possess many gifts designed to aid us all in the joining of heaven and earth. What is hidden within each of us is often our key to spiritual liberation. I hope the “Blue Visions” series will bring your own inner journey to life.
